STOCKS | MUTUAL FUNDS

Please contact CASA’s Executive Director Lisa Dougherty at lisad@casainc.org about the transfer/sell of stocks.

Remember, you’ll maximize your tax benefits by donating stock that has increased in value and that you have held for more than a year. For your tax purposes, you’ll get a letter of gratitude indicating the mean value of the stock on the day CASA Inc. received it into our account — that’s the amount you can deduct as a charitable contribution (within the limits of the law).

CASA is a lifeline for people (children, teenagers, and adults) in Washington County who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, and rape. Our programs and services provide the professional support and guidance necessary for these individuals and their families to survive violence and abuse and establish a new and safe direction.
